The Course
Situated on the North Wales coast, with spectacular views towards Conwy, Llandudno and across the sea to Anglesey, bordered by the Snowdonia hills, Conwy golf club boasts a superb links course, with excellent facilities for both members and visitors.Recently the club has invested in a fairway irrigation system, created new bunkers and reconstructed the existing bunkers; additionally visitosrs will enjoy the refurbished changing facilities. In the run-up to the club hosting the qualifying round for the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool in 2006, (the first club in Wales to have this honour), there can be no better time to enjoy the challenge of playing at Conwy Golf Club.
As the course turns to the back nine many of the holes are played beneath the slendid backdrop of the Conwy Mountains. When players reach the 15th Tee the course enters into gorse country for what many have described as one of the most testing finishes in golf, but once overcome, the hosptality of the club beckons at the clubhouse situated behind the 18th green were tales of "if only" I had taken this or that can be debated in the 19th.
