Builth Wells Golf Club
The Course
Builth Wells loves visitors as much as visitors love Builth Wells. It is a lovely parkland course which though lacking in length, more than makes up in terms of interest and presentation. The golf course presents a fair challenge to golfers of all levels. It is attractively laid out in splendid surroundings and is a comfortable walk. The variety in the holes means that players at the end of their round will find that they have used most of the clubs in their bag at some time. The course traces its trail though mature woodland and around water. Many holes require accuracy off the tee and well guarded greens mean precision is also needed for approach shots.
The Clubhouse is a converted 15th Century Welsh Long House, with oak beams, some of which are original. It also boasts two large wood fires in the lounge and dining area which add to the already cheerful and comfortable atmosphere.
